We are a dealer for Volvo, Hino and Isuzu trucks.

Since the founding of Smart's Truck & Trailer Equipment in 1971 by Donnie & Virginia Smart, the business has grown from a staff of three (Donnie, his wife, and one employee) to a full work force of 45 highly trained, top notch professionals.

Donnie envisioned a truck and trailer repair facility that focused on getting the customer back on the road. He often worked day and night to make sure the customers knew they were important. With this commitment to the customer in mind Donnie acquired the Volvo (then WHITEGMC) product line to become a full line new truck dealer in 1987. He later acquired the GMC and Isuzu product lines to improve the product offerings to the growing customer base.

While today the leadership has changed, the founding principles remain the same. The reigns of the dealership have been handed to Donnie & Virginia Smart's four daughters.

We are conveniently located just off Interstate-10 on Washington Blvd. in Beaumont, TX.  Now OPEN in Woodville, TX, is a Parts and Service location to better serve our customers!  We are the only in-house full line Volvo Truck dealer between Houston and New Orleans. We have a full line truck and trailer repair facility, dedicated engine shop, complete P.M. shop, frame and front end shop, paint and body shop, driveshaft shop (including flywheel machine) complete line of all make parts for trucks and trailers.
